Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell, Monana, USA is to deploy Perceptive Software’s ImageNow enterprise document management, imaging and workflow software for scanning 12-lead EKG tracings.
ImageNow will integrate with Meditech, Kalispell Regional Medical Center’s main HCIS system, and ED documentation system MedHost to deliver medical images into the patient’s record for a complete view of patient information, improved customer service and satisfaction with every patient encounter.Kalispell Regional Medical Center also plans to automate its admissions process with ImageNow, allowing employees to import an entire patient’s admissions packet with a single click, ensuring the collection and accuracy of all required patient documents such as insurance cards, driver’s license, patient history, consent forms and referral forms. Integrated with the medical center’s host application, Meditech, the result will be a fast, one-time check in. Patients will not be asked to wait on photocopies or to reproduce their documents later - everything will be securely stored in ImageNow for instant retrieval. Because patient information is managed electronically, employees will be able to instantly access the required information upon each subsequent hospital visit.
