New medical display systems from Barco are compatible with Windows Vista |

Barco' diagnostic display systems are now seamlessly compatible with Microsoft' Windows Vista operating system after developing a new set of drivers for Barco' Nio and Coronis product ranges. |

The drivers enable customers to upgrade to Vista smoothly and without any worries.
Compatibility with Windows Vista is a very topical subject in today' technology industry. Unlike most of its competitors, Barco did not rely on graphics cards providers to develop its Vista-ready solution.
Geert Carrein, director of product management at Barco, explained: "Since Barco develops all the display system components itself, including the Vista drivers, we can provide our customers with a seamless solution for Vista configurations, even for workstations with mixed 3D colour and 2D grayscale displays."
Barco' new Vista-ready drivers will continue to support legacy operating systems as well. The Vista-compatible systems are immediately available for commercial distribution.
