DataLase rolls out mass customisation coding solutions for the UU market

DataLase has introduced the company’s range of mass customisation solutions for the first time in the USA. |

DataLase process uses a laser reactive coating that undergoes a colour change when exposed to a CO2 laser.
DataLase Casemark Flexo offers a number of application benefits. Casemark Flexo is the only system capable of delivering a consistently verifiable bar code on-line and direct-to-carton.
The solution provides end-users with the flexibility to apply barcodes and variable information as well as other customised information that has been traditionally pre-printed by the corrugated box supplier. Casemark Flexo is designed to enhance production line efficiency for both converters and end-users by offering reduced change over times and small order fees.
DataLase is also unveiling Packmark to the US market. Packmark is a coding product used for applying variable information to primary packaging materials. With DataLase Packmark, the DataLase chemistry is applied to the packaging, and when activated with a CO2 laser, a positive image appears. The stability of the image produced is ideal for a wide range of applications relating to coding, marking, and tracking and tracing, provides extreme protection for brand integrity.
DataLase's complete suite of products will be introduced on booth S-5251 at Pack Expo International, Las Vegas, USA, 15 to 17 October, 2007.
