Huashan Hospital installs 3T MR-guided neurosurgery system

Fudan University Huashan Hospital in Shanghai, China selects IMRISneuro for its expanding neurosurgical department and will be the first in Asia to take delivery of the new 3 Tesla version of the system. |

IMRISneuro is a fully integrated operating room that provides high-quality MR images during a procedure without moving the patient. The project includes IMRISmatrix - a fully integrated surgical information management system.
The announcement of Huashan Hospital marks IMRIS' second project in China and follows on the heels of the official opening of the 1.5 Tesla IMRISneuro suite at PLA 301 Hospital in Beijing. David Graves, President and CEO of IMRIS, said: 'Installing our technology in these two leading neurosurgical sites is strong evidence of the growing appreciation of the value of IMRISneuro. IMRIS is looking forward to fast acceptance and growth of MR-guided neurosurgery in China'. |
