Training provider, Virtual College, reveals the finalists for the organisation's 4th Lean Healthcare Academy Annual Awards to be held at the Marriott Hotel in Leeds on Wednesday 8th February 2012.
The event is designed to bring together healthcare professionals from throughout the UK and beyond, who are dedicated to improving patient and service user experience and sharing best practice.

Following a stringent judging process 27 finalists, three for each of the nine categories listed attached, have been announced and notified.

All finalists will attend the Conference and Awards event on the 8th February where the winners will be revealed.  The Conference, starting at 1pm, will see delegates visit an exhibition and multiple workshops held by the award finalists during the afternoon, allowing time for networking with peersfrom around the UK to share best practice in many different lean efficiency disciplines.

The evening, with guest speaker Roy Lilley, will be a special awards event, where the winner will be announced from nine different categories and a trophy presented.

Rod Knox, Chief Executive of Virtual College and creator of the awards in 2008, commented: "There has never been a more important time to address efficiencies in work and this event is designed for those who have achieved quality and value for money improvements across health and social care services.  It enables them to share their success and be acknowledged for their achievements. The quality of work we have seen through the entries this year is really taking Lean working to a new level within the healthcare sector."
