Nottingham Rehab Supplies is launching the Nuvo Bath Lift range at Naidex 2010 from 20-22 April in Birmingham, UK. |

The Nuvo Bath Lift, one of 155 new products showcased in the latest Nottingham Rehab Supplies’ catalogue, allows for a deeper more luxurious immersion, while utilising an ingenious tilt mechanism to bring greater comfort and security to the person using it.
John Turner, NRS’ award-winning New Product Development Manager, said: “Allowing the seat to tilt upwards when the back reclines to a 25 degree angle gives that extra security in preventing the user from slipping forward”.
“The bath lift offers maximum comfort and deeper immersion not often associated with bathing in this fashion, while keeping safety paramount at all times”.
“The lightweight modular design is also easy to install and clean. It is simple to store away after use, which makes it invaluable to carers who can find other bath lifts cumbersome. The Nuvo has some innovative features and we’re confident it will be well received.”
Elegant in design, the Nuvo Bath Lift is one of the lowest models on the market when it comes to seat height. Lowering to an impressive 60mm allows for spacious leg room, while a high back rest provides support at all times.
Removable side flaps also make transferring in and out of the bath a breeze, while the floating waterproof hand control is ergonomically designed with raised textured buttons for the visually impaired.
The Bath Lift also features rotating suckers to fit a wide range of bath shapes, single point sucker release mechanism for easy removal from the bath, and audio-visual warnings when the battery needs re-charging.
NRS Brand Director, Sandra King said: “It offers affordable bathing luxury with obvious added benefits for carers as well. The lightweight modular design overcomes a lot of manual handling issues while making cleaning and transfers much less burdensome.” |
