BTX has introduced Platinum Tweezertrodes that offer a non viral, non toxic transfection method for in vivo applications.
In vivo electroporation offers a novel method to increase gene delivery and provide long term gene expression in tissues. Avoid the difficulties and harmful side effects of chemical and viral methods.

Electroporation as a method is not limited by the size of the molecules delivered or the range of tissue models that can be transfected.

The Platinum Tweezertrode electrodes provide uniform electrical fields, performance and durability for in vivo applications including; In utero gene transfer, Transgenic animal production and vaccine development. They are simple and easy to use and are available in 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 7mm and 10mm diameters to accommodate a variety of tissues and applications.
