|
Carestream Health
: 29 January, 2008 (New Product) |
|
Carestream Health has unveiled a new radiographic table for use with its Kodak Directview Digital Radiography systems that is lightweight, easy to adjust and offers greater patient positioning flexibility. |
|
The versatile table can also be used for computed radiography and film-based procedures. The table is available immediately in Canada, Europe and the USA, as well as most Arab, Asian and Pacific Rim countries.
The elevated table features a four-way floating tabletop and offers a new pedestal design that allows it to be positioned at any angle to the detector. The table is narrower to enable cross table examinations and offers a floor pivot that provides auto-positioning.
Other key features include:
- Pedals for both up and down movement
- Brakes on every wheel offer greater stability and patient safety; brakes are set and released simultaneously with a foot pedal.
- Complete length of tabletop (212cm/83.5inches) can be x-rayed; and
- One-step bar for float release.
