Civista Health outsources IT services to Phoenix Health Systems

Phoenix Health Systems has signed an agreement with Civista Health, La Plata, Maryland, USA, to provide information technology infrastructure outsourcing services.
Under the three-year agreement, Phoenix will manage Civista’s help desk from its Leveraged Service Center in Dallas, Texas, USA, while also providing an onsite team to support Civista’s desktop service towers. The new Civista help desk will be available to the user community 24 hours-per-day, seven days-per-week, maximising customer service and improving access to technical support.

The onsite desktop team will have a more clinical focus, with an emphasis on responsiveness to critical issues. The seamless integration of these two support systems will enable Civista to better plan and manage its IT infrastructure and technical environment to better meet the needs of the user community and improve patient care.
