Clinical Solutions acquires Tasmanian emergency after hours business

Clinical Solutions has acquired GP Assist (Tasmania) and the business and assets of the After Hours Doctor emergency after hours service.
After Hours Doctor is a fully accredited emergency after hours service offering surgery consultations and home visits to the patients of subscribing general practitioners (GPs) on weekends, weeknights and public holidays.

GP Assist is an after hours nurse triage and telephone advice line, which also incorporates a tier of doctor triage.

GP Assist is primarily designed to provide workforce relief to General Practitioners whilst ensuring after hours access to care for patients, and is closely integrated with healthcare providers throughout the state.

The acquisition enables Clinical Solutions to strengthen its position and enable further growth in Australasia.

Clinical Solutions now has the ability to deliver a complete 24 hour triage and patient direction service coupled with out of hours consultation, backed by superior call centre triage technology utilising the market leading Teleguide algorithms.
