ConflictPro extends deadline for entries to the Conflict Professional 2007 awards

ConflictPro : 27 July, 2007  (New Product)
ConflictPro is calling for anyone who knows a role model in conflict management that you have until 24th August 2007 to enter them for the Conflict Professional awards.
The awards are an opportunity to gain industry wide recognition for the good work going on to reduce violence and aggression in the workplace.

Introduced last year by ConflictPro, the awards are sponsored by City and Guilds and aim to highlight personal achievement and best practice in conflict resolution.

Judges will be looking for trainers, managers and frontline staff who can demonstrate how they have made a significant contribution to managing conflict at work.

ConflictPro general manager, Mark Jenner said: 'These awards are a great way to share new ideas for managing conflict across a number of areas. From healthcare to transport, justice and licensed retail many of us face the same challenges in dealing with violent or aggressive behaviour from service users and customers. The Conflict Professional awards provide a mechanism to communicate success to a wider audience.'

The seven award categories are open to staff and managers working in, healthcare, local authority, retail, licensed retail, justice, security and transport.
