ConflictPro organises a new conference for conflict professionals

ConflictPro : 09 August, 2007  (New Product)
The ConflictPro Conference organised by ConflictPro will showcase some of the latest thinking around violence risk management, employers' guidance on physical interventions, post incident measures and trainer qualification requirements.
The conference in partnership with Victim Support, is focused on the needs of practitioners, managers, trainers and consultants involved in managing conflict at work.

Attracting presenters and delegates from a number of industry sectors sets this conference apart from other events. Security, licensed retail, healthcare and local authority are represented in the topical and varied programme that covers aspects of managing workplace violence and aggression, relevant across all these fields, from conflict resolution to post incident support.

The conference will be opened by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, President of Victim Support and is taking place on September 27, 2007 at the Clifford Chance Auditorium, Canary Wharf, London.

Rick Tucker of Security Management Services is hosting the opening plenary, outlining violence in health and care. The day continues with a choice of materclasses and discussion forums headed by respected experts and covering subjects from weapons awareness and concealment to litigation and compensation judgements and the latest research findings in work related violence.

Contributions from Life long Learning UK, Judith Schubert of Crisis Prevention Institute and Colonel Jorge Mendoca are included in the programme and delegates can put their questions to a selection of the presenters during the panel question and answer session.

Mark Jenner, general manager at ConflictPro said: 'We believe we have put together a programme that will stimulate and challenge delegates' thinking on a range of conflict management and training issues. Because the conference has cross sector appeal it provides a unique opportunity to share experiences and learning across the board.'

He continued: 'The ConflictPro Conference is the only event of its kind for professionals working in this field.'
