Cook updates ART web portal to offer improved educational resources

Cook : 09 July, 2010  (Company News)
Cook Medical is introducing CookARTLab.com version 2.0, the newest edition of its website focused on assisted reproductive technology (ART).
The upgraded site now offers improved user functionality, new educational resources and easier homepage access to Cook's featured ART products. In the site's first year alone, CookARTLab.com hosted 21,637 visitors from 100 countries around the world. Forty-six percent were return visitors, with eleven percent coming back to the site more than 200 times.

CookARTLab.com has expanded its Knowledge Center to include: Featured ART products, a resource library of educational information, recent ART and infertility publications, and information on Cook's research media products. Understanding the need to share the site's content, Cook has also added links to a variety of social media sources such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz and other popular content-sharing web tools.

Along with the Knowledge Center, CookARTLab.com continues to showcase the industry's first interactive, behind-the-scenes video of a complete in vitro fertilization process, a discussion forum where fertility specialists can exchange experiences and information, and a calendar of events and breaking industry news.

'As the field of ART continues to grow and evolve, there is a continuing need for trusted, up-to-date resources that provide the latest research and developments in the industry,' said Christina Anne, Vice President and Global Leader of Cook's Women's Health unit. 'We're pleased that CookARTLab.com is meeting these demands and has helped more than 20,000 visitors over the past year obtain the information they need on the subject. With these new updates, we look forward to helping more people obtain the information they need on ART and IVF.'

For more than 25 years, Cook Medical has provided infertility and reproductive specialists with innovative products to meet the needs of each patient. Cook's end-to-end suite of ART products assists professionals in every step of the IVF process, from early infertility detection to embryo transfer. Cook ART Lab demonstrates the depth and breadth of the Cook solutions.
