Cope Allman invests in manufacturing and sales expansion

Cope Allman Plastic Packaging : 19 June, 2007  (New Product)
Cope Allman has announced major new investments in five machines across injection blow moulding (IBM), extrusion blow moulding (EBM) and injection moulding technologies as well as an expansion of its UK/European sales team.
The new investment follows on from major new contract wins and the company is also expanding its UK/European sales team.

Cope Allman has seen its business buck market trends and produce consistent growth in the pharmaceutical and OTC sectors.

With a quality culture firmly embedded in the company, Cope Allman, which was the first European blow moulding manufacturer to achieve ISO 9001:2000 PS9000 (pharmaceutical standard) accreditation, has exceeded its own growth targets, leading to the latest increase of manufacturing capacity at its Portsmouth based facility in the UK.

The significant investment in new capacity, which is installed at the Farlington site, will increase output by 10 percent and demonstrates the companies' confidence in the future and will enable Cope Allman to meet future demand from the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Newly appointed Sales Manager Tony Burnell commenting on the recent investment stated: 'We are very pleased with current demand'.

'I believe our success is down to our passion for quality and innovation and also our commitment to working as a partner to our customers on a long term basis'.

'By maintaining and developing existing customer relationships we are invited to design and manufacture new ranges and we have designed and built over thirty new production tools within the past 12 months'.

'With further opportunities on the horizon, manufacturing for the vigorous mainland European OTC healthcare market, this latest investment will make us even stronger and more competitive'.
