Sarah Banks, PA to Trevor Andrews, Managing Director at Siemens Hearing Instruments, recently ran the ‘Run to the Beat’ half marathon in London to raise money for The British Tinnitus Association (BTA). Sarah raised £350 including a contribution of £200 from Siemens Hearing Instruments which will go towards supporting BTA’s core work such as its confidential freephone helpline and many tinnitus research projects.
Sarah, a keen runner from West Sussex, was one of 19,000 runners who gathered to make their way round the 13.1 mile course through London’s Greenwich Park. Sarah completed the course in 1hr 49.19, beating her personal best.
“The BTA is an incredibly important organisation for helping people with tinnitus,” states Sarah Banks, PA at Siemens Hearing Instruments. “Siemens Hearing Instruments is very supportive of the charity and I was happy to be able to give something back by getting involved and raising some much needed funds for them.”
