|
Life Spine
: 15 October, 2008 (New Product) |
|
Life Spine has introduced the ConquestPolyaxial Screw System, which is a top-loading thoracolumbar pedicle screw system that features a concerted locking mechanism that allows true inline compression and distraction of the construct. |
|
Lockdown of the construct is predictable and efficient with the system’s square threaded locking mechanism.
Conquest offers:
- 80 degrees of screw angulation
- Double helical bone screw thread design
- Toggle free implant-instrument interface
- Facet friendly and low profile footprint
- Colour-coded instruments and implants available in 4.5 to 8.5mm diameters, ranging from 25 to 55mm in length
- Straight and pre-lordosed rods available in 10mm increments
- Compatible with the Lynx Cross Connector
Michael S Butler, Life Spine's president and chief executive officer said, 'The Conquest system is an exciting addition to the Life Spine portfolio that went from initial design to alpha launch in approximately 150 days. This rapid introduction is a testament to our team's ability to work efficiently and effectively to convert surgeon concepts to real products.'
