Medical job recruitment web site sees doubling of medical positions being posted

Jobs4Medical.co.uk : 16 July, 2008  (Company News)
Jobs4Medical.co.uk has posted over 50,000 medical positions in 2008 so far which is more than double the rate for that of the same period last year.
In addition, the number of candidates applying for these positions has risen to over 45,000 - rising from 30,000 in 2007. The growth of the website follows the recent launch of new specialist jobs sections, including medical sales, care home vacancies and physiotherapy.

A report issued earlier this year claims that 80 per cent of jobseekers are now searching online - highlighting the growing trend towards online recruitment sites. Since its launch in 2005, the company has worked directly with some of the UKs leading medical and healthcare organisations including Spire Healthcare, formerly BUPA, ADP, the leading providers of NHS dentistry in England and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

'Hardly a week goes by without more doom and gloom regarding job cuts in the NHS,' commented Vicky Scott, operations manager, Jobs4Medical. 'However, our figures show a dramatic increase in the number of medical positions both becoming available and being applied for, which is extremely positive.'

'Online recruitment as a whole is experiencing a tremendous growth, however there are still very limited resources specifically for medical sector recruitment,' Vicky Scott continued. 'The beauty of Jobs4Medical is that it is tailored specifically for healthcare professionals so it enables people to search for specialised jobs across the entire medical spectrum and not have to waste time searching through traditional jobs boards. Our ongoing relationships with leading healthcare organisations really ensure that we have the most relevant and up-to-date positions available. The site is up dated daily so people looking for a particular position can see an opening as soon as it comes up.'
