Microperfusion pump maintains organ culture solutions

The Harvard Apparatus Push Pull family of syringe pumps has been developed to maintain organ cultures with accurate, continuous flow and allows for continuous cycling .
For high accuracy at low microlitre or nanolitre flow rates the pumps are also available in a remote model where the pumping mechanism is separated from the control box by a 30 foot cable.

With smooth continuous flow, high precision and accuracy, the user can precisely and accurately control their cultures baths.

These pumps can simultaneously infuse and withdraw the exact amount required. They are ideal for when the user does not want the volume infused to alter pressure.

The programming functions of these pumps provide powerful capabilities for advanced experiments.

While in the program mode the pump can perform the following tasks at a predetermined time or when prompted by a signal from an external device: start or stop pumping, change pumping direction (infuse-withdraw), change flow rates, pump a precise volume and stop, pause operation, ramp up or down flow rates.

In the program mode the tasks can be linked together to provide powerful program sequences to simplify automation projects.
