Mobile Imaging Development creates partnership to supply the mobile PET/CT scanners

Mobile Imaging Development : 31 January, 2008  (New Product)
Mobile Imaging Development, a US healthcare management company providing management and consulting services to mobile diagnostic imaging providers is creating a Nevada based partnership that will own and operate the mobile PET/CT scanners.
Mobile Diagnostic Center partnership is to operate the mobile PET/CT scanner, producing a stable revenue base, diverting downtime by bringing the mobile scanner to the patients. Mobile Imaging Development will manage the partnership, identifying profitable opportunities.

“We have formed this partnership to service the tremendous demand that we see in the marketplace for mobile PET/CT services,” said Michael Blumenthal, the president of Mobile Imaging Development.

The partnership’s initial focus will be in the Southeastern United States, where there is an increasing demand for digital state-of-the-art imaging equipment in hospitals and outpatient facilities.

Blumenthal explained, “We see that there is a large gap between what large urban hospitals have compared to smaller hospitals and physician groups. Many smaller centres require PET/CT equipment and expertise, but lack the financial resources to offer these services to their patients on their own.”

“We are very excited to begin offering this cutting edge medical imaging technology to the underserved middle market. The best part of what we do is the positive impact on the health of thousands of people.”
