Naidex National, (re-branded from Naidex Birmingham) is to take place on 5-7 April 2011 at Birmingham’s NEC and builds on its 36 years of success.
Naidex National will be the largest Naidex ever, providing a better service to those wishing to achieve greater independence, carers, healthcare professionals and retailers.

Naidex National is the UK’s largest one stop shop for all disability and healthcare issues. Visitors will be able to touch, test and compare all the latest products to see what is suited to an individual’s needs.

“Naidex is always a great event; the things I have seen are mind blowing. I work with a lot of disabled children and the resources here are fantastic, there is everything you need and so much modern technology,” explained Coliea Bush, a Carer and visitor to Naidex.

The organisers of Naidex National have introduced a host of new and exciting features to this year’s show. The Wellbeing Walk is designed to revitalise whilst doubling as a hub of information and showcase products benefiting everyday life. Free massages, alternative therapy and nutritional advice will be available with a team of experts on hand to answer questions. If you’re looking to see the latest new products and meet brand new suppliers, don’t miss the Innovation Zone. Here you will also be able to vote for your favourite products in the New Product Award Showcase.

The Home Exercise and Rehab Zone will be offering practical demonstrations, help and advice in home rehabilitation. Whilst the Inspiration Theatre, previously known as the Lifestyle Theatre, will provide an interactive forum where you can listen to inspirational case studies, see Canine Partner assistance dogs in action and learn about body positioning and the benefits of yoga.

There will still be Naidex favourites such as the Communication Village, designed to house the latest technological advancements and supported by Communication Matters. The Car Zone, which is supported by the Blue Badge Network, Motability and Mobilise, will have many of the UK’s leading vehicle converters, including Brotherwood, Lewis Reed and Sirus, exhibiting the latest WAV developments.

Healthcare professionals are invited to attend the comprehensive free CPD-accredited seminar programme supported by The College of Occupational Therapists and the Health Professions Council.
