Paediatric care cot gains interest at Kidz-up-North

Theraposture received significantly high levels of interest regarding its new, fully modular Mascot Mark 2 at Kidz-up-North 2013 (21 November, Stand C11, Event City, Manchester).

Theraposture is a privately owned, family run business that has been a supplier of bespoke, hand-built adjustable beds, chairs and cots since 1981. It is a long standing supporter of the Newlife Foundation which is a charity dedicated to providing essential, supportive equipment to children with disabilities and life-limiting conditions. Theraposture works closely with the charity to supply specialist paediatric care cots such as the new Mascot so that the well-being and happiness of vulnerable children are maximised. The new Mascot Mark 2, which made its Kidz debut at Event City, delivers an adaptable, future proof solution that ensures continual comfort, safety and suitability for young users even as their individual needs change.

Liam Braddell, Theraposture Sales Director commented: “We are established exhibitors at the Kidz events and once again this northern show has proven to be a huge success for us. We were also delighted to welcome Karen Dobson (Lead Nurse) and Heather Campbell representing the Newlife Foundation onto our stand to discuss the current projects we are working on together. We believe the support they provide for numerous families across the UK is absolutely essential and are proud to be regarded as a trusted cot supplier. In addition to communicating the outstanding work of the Newlife Foundation to numerous visitors, the team and I were busy demonstrating our revolutionary new Mascot Mark 2 cot throughout the whole event. The Mascot provides the best cost effective choice for families as its pioneering flexibility means further cots do not need to be purchased when user needs change – hence one product can be a whole life investment.”

The next generation Mark 2 Mascot care cot takes the concept of modular flexibility to the next level.  This remarkable bed is designed to allow the changing needs of a user and their carers, to be continually met and managed by adapting a modular design. The Mascot offers scope to adapt the electrically operated functions together with the option to alter the quantity, height and construction of doors. Delivering safety, affordability without compromising quality, plus full modular flexibility – the Mascot Mark 2 is a future proof, flexible solution.
