Panlab/Harvard Apparatus unveils monitoring system for respiratory metabolism

Harvard Apparatus : 11 January, 2008  (New Product)
The Oxylet system from Panlab/Harvard Apparatus has been designed to monitor respiratory metabolism in rodents.
Utilising an indirect calorimetry system, the Oxylet system is designed to easily monitor carbon dioxide production, oxygen consumption, and respiratory ratio. In addition, the system can be scaled up to accommodate up to 32 animals simultaneously.

Each animal chamber has its independent flowmeter which means that one system can easily accommodate multiple species at the same time.

The Oxylet is ideal for studies of obesity, diabetes, athletic exercise training, and many other respiratory-challenging conditions.
