R J Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital selects FRG to supply diagnostic imaging services

Foundation Radiology Group : 22 July, 2008  (Company News)
Foundation Radiology Group (FRG) has signed a contract with R J Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital, Stuart, VA, which will see FRG become the hospital’s exclusive provider of diagnostic imaging services effective August 1, 2008.
R J Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access and 25-bed skilled nursing facility. They offer a wide range of health care services, including 24-hr emergency service, acute care, hospice care, occupational health services and a radiology department with advanced diagnostic testing procedures.

Janice Wilkins, chief executive officer of R J Reynolds said, 'This is service the hospital needs in order to provide quality healthcare for the patients in our community. We're proud to partner with FRG.'

FRG's board certified radiologists are available 24/7/365 to provide readings in muscularskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, mammography, cardiac CT, interventional radiology, paediatric radiology, brain perfusion, vascular ultrasound, OB/GYN Ultrasound and general radiology. With this broad range of capabilities, FRG is ideally positioned to provide subspecialty radiological services to smaller hospitals and outpatient centers that can't afford to keep subspecialists on staff.

Brandon W Chan, MD, FRG's chief executive officer, said, 'We are pleased to have R J Reynolds join our expanding family of clients. We will provide their patients the best service levels and subspecialty physician expertise available in the industry, via our Pittsburgh-based teleradiology network. Our unique capabilities allow us to cost-effectively provide professional, world-class diagnostic imaging services to the Southwest Virginia patients and physicians.'
