Royal Victoria Hospital selects Xograph Healthcare to supply direct digital mobile X-ray system

Xograph Healthcare : 17 December, 2007  (New Product)
The Royal Victoria Hospital, part of Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust., has been contracted Xograph Healthcare to supply a direct digital mobile X-ray system.

Mobile DaRt is a state-of-the-art motor driven Direct-DR system incorporating a large area, 800-Speed CXDI-50C Portable Flat Panel Detector from Canon. Mobile DaRt speeds up patient workflow as high definition digital images are available at the bedside for review a few seconds after exposure.

The system facilitates accurate diagnosis due to its superior imaging functionality, providing clinicians with clear images at minimum exposure to the patient. Images can also be instantly transferred to a radiologists' workstation, PACS or a printer. The Mobile DaRt has a slim line shape for effortless movement around the hospital as well as an ‘inch-mover’ feature for manoeuvring the unit between hospital beds.

“Mobile DaRt is a proven system that provides radiologists and clinicians with an unrivalled level of image quality at low dose to the patient. It is also an incredibly versatile system that can be motor driven onto wards or into A&E departments.” said Neil Staff, technical director at Xograph Healthcare. “We are delighted to receive the order from the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust.”
