Second ConflictPro conference focuses on conflict management

ConflictPro : 09 May, 2007  (New Product)
ConflictPro has announced that the company's second conference is aiming to help trainers, managers, practitioners and consultants to manage and resolve conflict and and aggression in the workplace.
The only cross sector event of its kind for professionals engaged in the reduction of violence in the workplace.

Bringing together leading experts in physical interventions, post incident management and life long learning, the Conference reflects ConflictPro's focus on continuing professional development (CPD) for people operating in the conflict management market.

The event, being staged at Canary Wharf, London, UK, gives delegates an opportunity to find out about the latest thinking, network with like minded professionals and industry shapers and contribute to their own development, helping them to keep right up to date and stay ahead of the competition.

Delegates can choose to attend masterclasses or discussion groups lead by Peter Boatman, expert witness in the use of force; Brodie Paterson, senior lecturer at Stirling University; Tim Cooke, educational psychologist; Noel Walsh, head of workplace safety, Weightmans Solicitors, Steve Collins, CEO PS5 and Victim Support.

Delegates will also have an opportunity to air their own views and have questions answered during the afternoon panel question and answer session.

The Conference, taking place on 27th September 2007, also marks the finale of the Conflict Professional Awards - a scheme developed to encourage best practice and recognise individuals who have made a significant contribution to reducing conflict at work, across a number of industry sectors, from security and licensed retail to healthcare and transport.

Tickets for the Conference and Awards presentation cost 199 plus VAT with reductions for Conflict Professional subscribers.

Award entry forms and more details on the time table and judging criteria are also available on the Conference web site.
