Toshiba America Medical Systems : 03 December, 2007  (New Product)
Toshiba America Medical Systems has implemented a new Educational Advisory Board to demonstrate the company's continued commitment to improving diagnostic imaging education.
As the only educational advisory board in the industry, the group will oversee all Toshiba education courses provided through the Education Center in Irvine, California, USA and advise on new training programmes as new technologies are developed.

'With the partnerships established in this advisory board, Toshiba will be able to utilise valuable insights from industry leaders to provide the highest quality, most relevant education to the medical community,' said Sharon Yoon, director, Education and Sales Support, Toshiba. 'Toshiba has a strong commitment to physician and technologist training, and we look forward to improving our already robust programs through this advisory board.'

The new advisory board will meet twice a year to suggest new courses to be developed, oversee courses in development and advise if courses should be introduced based upon new technologies and equipment developed by Toshiba.

To strengthen the expertise of the board, the selected members include three radiologists, three cardiologists and a radiology administrator, all of whom are leaders in their field of study.
