Unival integrates new medical record facility on the Google Health platform

Unival : 21 May, 2008  (New Product)
Unival, a healthcare company that delivers a variety of integrated healthcare services, has integrated with the new Google Health platform.
Google Health is a new online facility which allows users to store, organize, and manage their medical records online. The Unival integrated service, called yourHealth, allows Google Health users to fax paper medical records to Unival and have expert nurses quickly and accurately convert them to a format that can be imported into their Google Health profile.

'We are pleased to be part of this exciting product from Google,' said Michael Gallagher, president of Unival. 'The healthcare industry is becoming consumer-driven and Unival helps the consumer manage their health information in this new environment.'

yourHealth is a suite of services developed by Unival that allow consumers to take control of their personal healthcare information: yourMobile, yourReview and yourRecords.

yourRecords is the only service as of now integrated on the Google Health platform. For a small fee, this service allows Google Health users to import paper based medical records into their Google Health profile. The user simply sends their records to Unival by electing to sign up for their service on Google Health, and a trained, experienced nurse abstractor will review their records and quickly and accurately convert the applicable personal medical information into a format that is seamlessly uploaded to the user's Google Health profile. With a yourRecords Annual Subscription option, the user can use Unival to keep their Google Health profile current throughout the year.
